Access your student’s CMAS score reports through the Family Portal in May

In April, our students participated in the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests, and their performance information will be available in May!

Starting on May 29, your child’s CMAS results summary will be available online through the Family Portal. This secure platform offers convenient access to important information about your child’s academic progress based on the statewide assessments administered to Colorado students, which measure what students should know and be able to do at the end of each grade level.

Here’s How You Can Access Your Child's CMAS Report

  1. Student’s State ID (SASID) – You can find this information at the top of your child’s CMAS score report from last year. Your student’s State ID is also available in the Alma Parent Portal. After logging in, click the parent initials in the upper-right corner and select “My Info.” Each student profile will display a State ID number, which you will use to log in. If you need help locating your student’s State ID, please contact the school office.

  2. Student’s Last Name

  3. Student’s First Name

  4. Student’s Date of Birth

The results summary includes your child's score and performance level. By June 15, you will be able to access detailed results that provide:

  • Information about your child’s strengths and areas for growth;

  • Comparisons of your child's performance to their peers at the school, district, and state levels; and

  • Tips for supporting your child’s learning at home.

You will also find resources to help you understand the results.

Remember - CMAS scores are one piece of the puzzle. CMAS scores provide insights about your child’s academic journey based on Colorado’s grade-level expectations. We encourage you to view them alongside classroom grades and teacher feedback for a more complete picture of your child’s progress. Please take a few minutes to review your child’s results and celebrate their hard work!
