How to connect a Chromebook to WiFi at Home

When using a Chromebook at home you will first have to connect it to a Wifi network it can pick up.  To do this:

  1. Power on the chromebook.  You will see a screen that says Network not available. On that screen you will see a list of available wireless networks.

  2. Click on the network name that you know to be safe.

  3. If prompted, type the password for the network you selected.Login as usual with your student email account

    K-2 Students may use their Clever Badge


        Brush Schools Chromebooks will only work 
        with student.brushschools.org accounts


Brush School District has created Google email accounts for all students.

Your account will be firstname.lastname.20XX@student.brushschools.org  

20xx designates the students' graduation year. For example:  jonathan.smith.2020@student.brushschools.org

Students should know their password, but if they forget the default password is:
(first initial, last initial, MMDDYYYY) where the date is their birthday.

Responsible Use Agreement for At-Home Devices

Parents and Students must read, understand and agree to follow all responsibilities as outlined in the Responsible Use Agreement for At-Home Devices: https://bit.ly/brushrup

Brush School District  will support the normal wear and tear of devices for the life of the device and accessories (charger), which is determined by the district.  All students are highly encouraged to procure cases for their ChromeBook to help avoid incidental damage.  Cases may be found for about $15. If a Device is damaged the District will work with the student and school to determine if it is a warranty or other type of claim incident.
