Anticipate delays arriving and departing from Beaver Valley this afternoon. The City of Brush is conducting road work along Mill Street in the vicinity of Beaver Valley. The road is not closed, however traffic may be restricted to one lane. Thank you for your patience as the city improves the local roads.

BVES Students and Families,
I am writing to provide you with important information regarding tomorrow's (9/30) return to classes following last night's incident.
First and most importantly, our school buildings and grounds are completely safe. I want to thank the Brush Police Department and Brush Volunteer Fire Department for their swift and professional response last night, which allowed us to quickly ensure the safety and security of our facilities.
Classes will resume tomorrow as scheduled. If you or your student have specific questions we do ask that you direct them to Brush PD or the BSD District Office. We understand some students may have questions or concerns, and our staff is available for support.
Our focus this week is on providing a positive, normal experience for our students while ensuring everyone feels safe and supported. We believe our homecoming celebrations will be a wonderful way to bring our school community together. We are looking forward to a week filled with rich Beetdigger traditions and school and community spirit.
We will move forward with our scheduled homecoming activities, with dress-up days and events proceeding as planned for the remainder of the week.

Beaver Valley 's open house will be August the 7th from 4:30 to 6:30. We are excited to see you and have you meet the teacher.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Fun Day, from 8:00ish until 11:00 when the Spring BBQ kicks off. Tickets for the BBQ are 5 dollars, cash only please. To make things move faster please bring small bills. Mrs. Dahlinger will sell tickets starting at 8:00 am. Thank you!

From Beaver Valley: Check out our box of invitations! We’re proud of our students. Invitations to the awards assembly are coming home today. Awards will be given for: Drama Club, Archery, Student Council, Kids Heart Challenge, Accelerated Reader, Perfect Attendance, NWEA, and Brush Pride.

Bike, Roll, or Stroll to School Day IS Wednesday, May 7th. If your child is planning to participate, please communicate with his/her school. There will only be supervision at intersections in the morning. Please make arrangements for your child and his/her bike/scooter to return home safely. Please plan to arrive at the starting points by 7:15. See routes below. Old Middle School (Howard St. & Cameron St.) Baseball Field (Emerson St.) Beaver Valley (parking lot by the sign) Please make sure that your child follows the correct bike route so that all participants will arrive at their destination safely. All volunteers will be wearing a bright yellow safety vest.. Please tell your student that if they need help, these people are safe to ask for help. If your child needs medical help, a bus with a school nurse will be cruising our bike paths to take care of issues may they arise. Bike safety is extremely important! Please view this safety presentation. Wearing a helmet is highly recommended. Ride on the right side of the road & as close to the side as possible! Wear bright clothes. Pay attention to your surroundings. Obey traffic signs/rules. Make sure your bike is in good working condition & the right size. Please label your bike, scooter, roller skates, rollerblades, or whatever you choose to ride to school on May 7th.

Please plan on attending the STEMventures kick off event. April 29th from 3:30 - 6:00. Food, fun, prizes, and registration for summer STEMventures.

Please plan on joining us for Fun Day on May 22nd and stay for the spring BBQ.

Please take the time to review our schedule and the times that your child will be testing. If possible, please try not to pull your student from school for appointments or other reasons during testing. Beaver Valley had a very successful round of conferences last night and we look forward to great attendance tomorrow night for the last night of parent teacher conferences. The parents have penned some heart warming comments on our “Proud Parent Shout-Out Posters.” Thank you Mrs. Villareal for an awesome idea.

The city is working on a busted water main on Mill between Glacier and the Golf Course. With the weather, and that section only being one lane, it would be advisable to adjust your route to the school this morning so you don't have to deal with the problems it will cause.
