Administration Structure
Brush Secondary Campus will be operating under a new administrative structure for the 2026-2027 school year. Mr. Bass will be serving as the principal of Brush High School. Mr. Singley will be serving as the interim principal at Brush Middle School for the 26-27 school year. Mr. Daughenbaugh will be serving as the dean of students for BHS and BMS. Mr. Felton will continue his role as athletic and activities director for BMS and BHS.
Drop off and pick up changes
With a new school year comes some changes to traffic patterns and drop-off locations at BSC. Please refer to this map for a visual of the changes. We will be closing one access road off Mill Street. Please use the eastern most access road adjacent to Ackleys. We are also opening the old bus loop as a parent drop-off/pick-up location. Please drop-off and pick-up students on the sidewalk on the far south side of the loop. Parents will no longer be allowed to drop-off or pick-up students in the student parking lot. Please use the main entrance or east side loop (former bus loop). Lastly, the bus drop off will be moved to the southwest corner of the building in the loop around the H-Building. This loop will be bus access only at all times during drop-off and pick-up.
Attendance
All schools in the district have updated attendance policies to align with board of education policy and state law. Along with updating policy Brush School District has set a goal of 95% attendance and a reduction of over 50% in chronically absent students. For BSC, this means some updates to attendance policies and regulations. Brush High School attendance policies can be found in section 44 of the BHS Student Handbook. Brush Middle School attendance policies can be found in section 2 of the BMS Student Handbook. For additional information please refer to this FAQ document.
