📚✏️ CELEBRATING OUR INCREDIBLE BRUSH SCHOOL DISTRICT TEACHERS! ✏️📚
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the amazing educators who shape our future every day! In Brush, we take tremendous pride in our schools and understand that our teachers aren't just educating students - they're nurturing our future talent, leadership, creativity, and potential.
Every day, our teachers look at our students and see the next inventors, writers, engineers, and leaders. Their job isn't simply teaching subjects - it's believing in our children's potential before they even see it themselves.
To all Brush School District teachers: Your dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our students doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for creating welcoming classrooms where learning comes alive!

The BMS GT students and BMS State Science Fair students had a wonderful experience last week as they attended a STEM workshop at iFly Denver. They learned about the physics of skydiving and got to experience it first hand as they each took two flights in the amazing iFly vertical wind tunnel.

The following Brush High School students earned their industry ready certificates. Today Stacie Smith from Morgan County Economic Development Corporation (MCDEC) presented the following students with those certificates. The Brush High School students were the first group of students to earn those industry certifications. The students completed courses in HVAC, Plumbing, Construction, Electrical and Facility Management/Maintenance. This program was part of the Roots76 Workforce and Interplay Learning cooperative.
The students were enrolled in the program for the entire school year and worked hard to achieve their certifications that included troubleshooting, diagnosis of problems, and practical applications for repair and maintenance.
The skills and certifications earned from the program will allow students to be workforce ready when they graduate from high school.
Congratulations to the following students: David Macias, Christian Stromayer, Arely Lopez, Michael Mendoza Jacinto, Ivy Holguin and Oscar Mendoza. Not pictured: Christian Beltran.
