Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Parent Survey
Brush School District RE 2(J) is investigating the idea of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for students. This means allowing students to bring their own technology devices such as laptops, tablets, e-readers and use them for school related activities. School related activities could include taking notes, doing research, creating projects, writing reports, taking assessments, and other uses as determined.
School around the country are investigating and implementing this as a way to strengthen the students use of technology as a 21st century skill in the classroom. Students tend to like such programs since they are familiar with the devices that they own.
We are in the exploratory stage of BYOD at this time. The District has not specified a start date for this program. We do ask for your comments, concerns and suggestions by taking this short survey,
