RFP: INTERNAL LAN REWIRE AT BRUSH MIDDLE SCHOOL - 401 Howard - Brush, Colorado 80723

We are seeking a complete LAN rewire as an ERATE billable service. Complete turnkey solution
Scope of Work:
- Install 95 Cat 5e blue plenum rated cables for locations within the Brush Middle School.
- All Cables should be blue General Cat 5e.
- Cables to terminate on Cat 5e 48 port rack mounted patch-panels to be installed in 1 MDF and 1 IDF location.
- Cables to be terminated on Cat 5e jacks on station end.
- Install 1 - 6 strand 50 micron multi-mode laser plenum armored fiber from the MDF to the IDF.
- Supply and install 2 new equipment racks, 1 vertical wire manager, cable tray and hardware.
- Install raceway for all new locations on brick/block walls.
- All cables to be labeled and tested upon completion of the project.
- Cables to be installed in the ceiling to meet area code requirements.
- Provide 96 patch cords
No demo of existing drops should be quoted within the RFP.
Optional:
Provide quote on 2 48 port POE smart switches.
BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS
The proposer must be an established Distributor in business for at least five years, and shall provide a labor and parts warranty on all hardware and software for a period of at least one year from date of signed customer acceptance of the equipment.
PROCESS FOR RFP SUBMISSION
The following procedure should be followed for responding to this RFP:
• Price quote(s) for any recommended configuration.
• All Non-Erate Components priced separately.
• Provide complete listing of all services included in price quoted.
• Provide complete technical specification of all systems used to provide services quoted.
• Evidence that the product line meets the determining factors for awarding of the contract must be submitted with quotes.
• Prices must be guaranteed up to 300 days from the date of contract award.
• The Brush School District reserves the right to order the equipment anytime during that time period in their efforts to maximize the availability of Universal Service Funds.
• All service contracts are to begin once the installation is completed.
• All bills are to be paid when services are satisfactorily completed.
